LLQP Ethics & Professional Practice (Common Law) FAQ — Exam Structure and Prep

Frequently asked questions about LLQP Ethics & Professional Practice (Common Law): what it is, typical exam structure references, and study tips.

Is this the Common Law or Civil Code version?

This hub is for Ethics & Professional Practice (Common Law). Québec uses a different legal framework (Civil Code) and typically a different Ethics & Professional Practice version.

Is the CSI LLQP Insurance Course exam the same as the provincial licensing exam?

No. The CSI LLQP Insurance Course exam/credits page describes CSI’s course assessments (for example, a 100‑question / 3‑hour proctored exam). Provincial licensing exams are typically separate modular exams administered under your regulator’s rules by an approved exam provider.

  • Prefer answers that protect the client and create a clear audit trail.
  • Learn to spot red flags: misleading statements, pressure tactics, privacy breaches, and conflicts.
